Description
Campbell's Covered Bridge is located in Greenville County, South Carolina. Built in 1909, it is the only remaining covered bridge in the state. It was named after a grist mill owner, Alexander Lafayette Campbell who maintained a corn grist in the area for many years. The wooden covered bridge was added to The National Register of Historic Places in 2009. As a native South Carolinian I felt compelled to visit this quaint and serene spot that brings past and present together and I was not disappointed! Hope you enjoy this photograph and the others in my Campbell's Covered Bridge Series.
