Description
Ezekiel's prophecy in 47:10 seems far fetched to some, even Christians and yet The scripture is very clear about what will happen to the Dead Sea: " Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En-gedi to En-eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean." This photograph was taken not too far from En-gedi, and as you can see behind the Israeli Flag there is only a narrow strip of water. This is because the Dead Sea, which is the lowest place on the earth, is drying up due to a decrease in water flowing from The Sea of Galilee and ongoing evaporation. Also, nothing can live in this water because of the high density of salt. However, there is good news! Due to the shrinkage of the salt lake's water ( I understand about a meter a year ) the shore line has receded and sink holes are showing up. Some are filled with fresh water and are so big they even have fish in them! At this point in time no one really knows what this is going to lead to. Will God somehow use this phenomenon to fulfill His word in Ezekiel 47:10? Perhaps, or perhaps it will be done quite quickly and supernaturally, but it will come about. There is already " Life In The Dead Sea" and there is much more life to come!
