Description
2 Chronicles 7:14 conveys a promise from God to His chosen people, The Jews . It is a conditional promise, and God required His people to respond to the conditions in order to receive His forgiveness for their sin and wickedness and healing of their land. The principle set in this one verse of scripture is very simple, but very profound and many Christians use it as a guiding truth for their lives. " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 is a scripture of paramount significance in settings where Christians come together to pray for their nation.
I struggled with this design but decided to go for it and upload this! I thought perhaps the print wasn't bold enough to stand out against the beautiful textured photograph in the background; however, I decided to not enhance the text given what is being communicated. It is my intent that the scripture blend into the photograph, or visa versa. The conditions for God to hear from Heaven ( represented by the skies ) is so interwoven with His people praying in humility and repentance ( represented by the trees at the bottom of the image ) that such actions prompts Him to respond in forgiveness and healing...of a nation!
