Description
Ducks are waterbirds with a broad blunt bills, short legs, webbed feet, and a waddling gait. What is it that seems to bring tranquility and peace as we gaze upon them? Perhaps it's the combination of the birds themselves and the water on which they swim. This particular water is a lake in Michigan, and it was morning when I captured this image. It is a simple duck image! Ducks, geese, swans and screamers are classified as Anseriformes — there are 166 known species.
