Many beautiful sunsets have been captured over the beautiful ancient City of God, Jerusalem. Mount Scopus, a mountain in northeast Jerusalem offers a magnificent view of the old city, especially as the sun is going down. Jerusalem occurs 660 times in the Old Testament and the synonym Zion occurs 158 times. Jerusalem occurs 146 times in the New Testament the synonym Zion occurs 7 times. It is the place where Abraham offered Isaac, Jesus was crucified, and where The Messiah will return to establish His earthly reign, according to biblical scriptures.
