A beautiful shot Lydia, love the angle in which you chose to take it at. Wonder if the man made it home safely besides for if he did good fishing! -Sherry

Lydia Holly replied:

Thank you Sherry for your encouraging comment! Much appreciated!

Artist's Description

A beautiful and serene setting you will find if you come to Augusta's Riverwalk at a time when visitors are at a minimum. However, I had been there no more than half an hour when it started to rain, and thunderstorms were suppose to be on the way, so I left. This riverwalk has a lot to offer to include a science center, art museum and historical church, not to mention all sorts of shops and restaurants. Of course, I came for the view! I wonder if the man who is fishing from the small boat caught anything? Enjoy that historic trestle bridge that spans the river! Hope I can return.

About Lydia Holly

Lydia Holly

I have enjoyed taking photos since I was a little girl, but especially began learning about the skill and art of photography in college; however, as years went by I, like most of us, put the camera in the drawer and would pull it out only for special occasions. For the most part, photography has been a passion that I put on the shelf; but now I have the opportunity to share with others some of my favorite photos, while exploring creative and new styles in photography and digital art. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything...animals, nature, vistas, people, architecture, and landscapes. I love it all! I am in awe of God's creation and ever so thankful that I have the opportunity to reflect a piece of it through a photograph. I hope...
