The Sea of Galilee in Israel brings all sorts of moments for visitors and residents alike. There are wonderful boat rides that bring inspiration and spiritual encouragement, there are drive by experiences that give you beautiful vistas, and then there are experiences like these folks must be having...swimming, boating, and generally just hanging out and having a good time. This photograph was taken in the Tiberias area, and is one I really like because of the natural texture of the image. I have added a filter that adds to the painterly effect and hope the viewer enjoys " Recreation On The Sea."

I have enjoyed taking photos since I was a little girl, but especially began learning about the skill and art of photography in college; however, as years went by I, like most of us, put the camera in the drawer and would pull it out only for special occasions. For the most part, photography has been a passion that I put on the shelf; but now I have the opportunity to share with others some of my favorite photos,while exploring creative and new styles in photography and digital art. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything...animals, nature, vistas, people, architecture, and landscapes. I love it all!
