I was not prepared for the beauty that was only a few blocks from my home. I was on my way to church and what a surprise that was before me! These, and other beautiful Bradford Pear trees were so magnificent in full bloom I had to make sure I photographed them before their blossoms dropped. I never grow tired of the white "snowy" scenes these gorgeous trees make! From afar they also resemble cotton! Bradford pears are ornamental trees that bloom in early Spring. This image was captured in Fort Mill,SC. Several filters were added to enhance the artistic quality of the image.
I have enjoyed taking photos since I was a little girl, but especially began learning about the skill and art of photography in college; however, as years went by I, like most of us, put the camera in the drawer and would pull it out only for special occasions. For the most part, photography has been a passion that I put on the shelf; but now I have the opportunity to share with others some of my favorite photos,while exploring creative and new styles in photography and digital art. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything...animals, nature, vistas, people, architecture, and landscapes. I love it all!
