The Garden Tomb is one of the most popular places that Christians visit when touring Israel. The tomb itself is in the midst of a garden that has beautiful stone walkways, trees, plants and flowers. If you can avoid the crowds it is a wonderful place for prayer and meditation. I have previously uploaded two images of "The Tomb" and decided to share this popular and revered place from a different perspective. As you can see the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Groups often have communion and worship services in the garden as there are several allocated places for such. "The Garden Tomb is believed by many to be the garden and sepulcher of Joseph of Arimathea, and therefore a possible site of the resurrection of Jesus. The Garden is owned and administered by The Garden Tomb (Jerusalem) Association, a Christian non-denominational charitable trust based in the United Kingdom.
