This Volkswagen Beetle in this piece is some sight to see as you travel down Hwy. 501 south of Sanford, NC During Spring months it is adorned with all types of flowers and plants. It serves as an advertisement for a local nursery. What a great eye catcher...so colorful and full of life! This shell of a car has been turned into a work of art while housing living things! A far cry from the local junk yard, wouldn't you agree? Many lessons can be learned from this! A fun image that is a combination of photograph and a few artful adjustments!
I added a Photoshop filter that works perfectly with the image and made a few digital alterations. This would make a great conversation piece for your home, business or office. Hope you've enjoyed viewing " The Botanical Beetle."
I have enjoyed taking photos since I was a little girl, but especially began learning about the skill and art of photography in college; however, as years went by I, like most of us, put the camera in the drawer and would pull it out only for special occasions. For the most part, photography has been a passion that I put on the shelf; but now I have the opportunity to share with others some of my favorite photos, while exploring creative and new styles in photography and digital art. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything...animals, nature, vistas, people, architecture, and landscapes. I love it all! I am in awe of God's creation and ever so thankful that I have the opportunity to reflect a piece of it through a photograph. I hope...
