These birds were peacefully floating on a pond on the Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, NC..The Lazy 5 Ranch offers the unique experience of giving you a 3.5 mile tour of over 750 animals from all over the world. It is a drive through animal park that will be a sure hit with the whole family. You can drive through the Lazy 5 Ranch in the safety of your own car or for a fee ride on a horse drawn open-air wagon.
I went during Autumn, and I can testify that it was a very exhilarating experience. The landscape was filled with trees, ravines, and lots of leaves! Most of the animals roam freely. Of course the birds find the ponds a very peaceful atmosphere and the ones in this photograph did not seem to be bothered by me being so close. Hope you enjoy " Floating in Fall!"
