This photograph reminds me of the many hours I spent on this beach! For a number of years I lived about 8 minutes away from Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida. I was blessed to comb its shore and find great shells. I walked and talked with God during trials and when things were going well. It was my special place of solitude. I also walked and talked with friends during good times and hard times here. I have laughed and cried at this site. Yes, all sorts of memories come back as I look at this image. Perhaps you the viewer have a special place like this in your memory, or maybe you have that special place in your present...I hope so! Special places are important!
