Description
This photograph was taken from Kibbutz Ginosar at the Jesus Boat Museum in Israel. It is a lovely landscape, but also very significant historically and spiritually as it includes several sites where Jesus The Messiah ministered. Directly across from the sailboat (the other side of the water at the foot of the hill ) is the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus is said to have appeared to his disciples after the resurrection. As you move Northwest from that building you will see another building (Church of the Beatitudes) nestled between two clusters of trees. This area is where Jesus is believed to have given the Sermon on the Mount. Also, it is in this area where Jesus fed 5,000 with five loaves of bread and two fish (Matthew 14:13-21). Lots of blue and green tones in this image...hope you enjoy the view and encouraged by the richness of history and miracles represented in this photograph.
