This photograph was taken from my hotel room in Tiberias, Israel. I have no idea of what kind birds are swarming around the Sea of Galilee but there were many more than what you see in this image. What a lovely moment in time! The Sea is actually a lake and it was so calm and peaceful as the the sun rose over the mountains. The Sea of Galilee is best known for the water that Jesus traveled on, walked on, and preached from! It is Israel's largest freshwater lake and most important source of drinking water. People enjoy camping, fishing, boating and swimming in this beautiful body of water. Note: A texture has been added to the image
