Description
This photograph of an umbrella and reflection was taken at the Dead Sea in Israel. The Dead Sea, which is actually a lake, is the lowest place on earth as its surface and shores are 430.5 meters (1,412 ft) below sea level. Many people flock to the high salt density lake for fun and medicinal purposes, and there are a number of health resorts to choose from. You cannot sink in the lake due to the high concentration of salt and other minerals, and if you are an avid reader you can even posture yourself to read the newspaper or magazine while " sitting on the water. " I hope you enjoy viewing this nice umbrella reflection upon the placid water of the Dead Sea.
