Description
The most important tenet of Christianity is the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Easter, or Resurrection Sunday is therefore a very important holiday for committed Christians all over the world. Matthew 28:6 conveys that the angel of The Lord communicated to the women who had come early in the morning to the tomb by saying, "He is not here, for He is risen as He said! Come, see the place where He was lying." Many Christians will proclaim on Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, " He is risen! He is risen Indeed! " As a Jesus follower I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem and to actually go into the tomb where many believe the body of Jesus,The Messiah was laid to rest. This is one of the photographs I took while visiting there. It was truly a sacred experience, and of course no one was surprised that the tomb was empty! A filter has been added and a few digital adjustments made to the photograph to enhance the artistic effect.
