This photograph was taken from Mount Carmel overlooking the Jezreel Valley. In the distance one can see Mount Tabor ( left ), Nazareth and Mount Moreh (right ). The Jezreel valley is referred to in the Holy Bible a number of times, and is the place where Armageddon is to take place. It is a rich fertile valley with beautiful vistas, towns, and archeological sites, and is considered the agricultural heartland of Israel.
